This was for a recent project at work where I actually got the chance to sculpt a couple of action figures for a new game. The maquettes seen here are two and a half times the actual size. I started out with a drawing showing the front and side of the character for measuring purposes. I then created an armature out of aluminum wire. Next was to start adding the Chavant NSP clay around the armature. I then had a decent enough clay piece to make an RTV Silicone mold. Out of the mold came a urethane casting that I sanded and cleaned up for about another 40 hours. After that I primered the casting and sent it over to our vendor to make a tool off the part.
